Lamp AI, Inc.
Terms of Service
These terms govern your access to Lamp and your use of connected repositories, upload endpoints, integrations, and AI-assisted stream features.
Effective date: May 24, 2026
1. Agreement
These Terms of Service are an agreement between you and Lamp AI, Inc. By accessing or using Lamp, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you use Lamp for an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.
2. What Lamp Does
Lamp connects user-selected sources, normalizes incoming events, and commits accepted records into GitHub repositories and stream folders selected by the user. Lamp may also provide optional AI filtering and summarization for streams when those features are enabled.
You control which repositories, streams, upload endpoints, and integrations you connect. You are responsible for the repositories and third-party accounts you authorize Lamp to access.
3. Accounts and Authorization
You must provide accurate information and keep your accounts secure. You authorize Lamp to access GitHub, WHOOP, Gmail, and other connected services only as needed to provide the features you choose. You can revoke access through Lamp or through the relevant third-party provider.
4. User Content and Repositories
You retain ownership of content you submit to Lamp or direct Lamp to retrieve. You grant Lamp a limited license to host, process, transform, transmit, commit, display, and otherwise use that content only to provide, secure, maintain, and improve Lamp.
When you connect a repository, you instruct Lamp to write stream records, summaries, and related metadata into that repository. Content committed into a repository may be visible to collaborators, forked, cloned, retained in Git history, or otherwise handled according to GitHub and your repository settings.
5. WHOOP Integration Terms
If you connect WHOOP, you represent that the WHOOP account and data are yours or that you have all rights and permissions needed to authorize Lamp to access that data. You expressly instruct Lamp to retrieve the WHOOP data types you select and to save derived records into the stream and GitHub repository you choose.
WHOOP data may include health, fitness, recovery, sleep, activity, biometric, and body measurement information. You should connect WHOOP only if you want Lamp to process this information as described in these Terms and in our Privacy Policy.
Lamp is not WHOOP, is not endorsed by WHOOP unless separately stated, and does not provide medical advice. WHOOP data and Lamp summaries are for personal context and informational use only, not for diagnosis, treatment, emergency decisions, insurance, employment, or other regulated health decisions.
You agree not to use the WHOOP integration to access another person's data without permission, resell WHOOP data, build a competing database using WHOOP data, or otherwise violate WHOOP's developer terms, WHOOP's user terms, or applicable law.
6. AI Features
Optional AI instruction and summary features may send stream content, metadata, and instructions to configured AI providers. AI outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for your use case. You are responsible for reviewing AI outputs before relying on them.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use Lamp to violate law or third-party rights.
- Connect accounts, repositories, or data you are not authorized to use.
- Upload malware, secrets you are not allowed to disclose, or illegal content.
- Interfere with Lamp, bypass rate limits, or abuse webhooks or queues.
- Reverse engineer Lamp except where allowed by law.
- Use Lamp to make medical, legal, financial, employment, or insurance decisions without qualified human review.
8. Third-Party Services
Lamp depends on third-party services, including GitHub, WHOOP, Google, hosting providers, analytics providers, queue/database providers, and AI providers. Your use of those services may be governed by their own terms and privacy policies. Lamp is not responsible for third-party services or for interruptions, limits, revocations, or changes to their APIs.
9. Availability and Changes
Lamp may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time, including integrations that depend on third-party APIs. We may impose limits to protect reliability, comply with API limits, prevent abuse, or meet legal or security obligations.
10. Disclaimers
Lamp is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent allowed by law, Lamp disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, and error-free operation.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, Lamp AI, Inc. will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, data, or business opportunities. Lamp's aggregate liability for claims relating to the service will not exceed the greater of the amounts you paid Lamp in the three months before the claim or $100.
12. Indemnity
You will defend and indemnify Lamp AI, Inc. from claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your content, repositories, connected accounts, misuse of Lamp, violation of these Terms, or violation of law or third-party rights.
13. Termination
You may stop using Lamp at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create risk for Lamp or other users, or if a third-party provider requires us to do so. Termination does not automatically remove records already committed to your GitHub repository.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
